Tool Scope
⚠ PixSqueeze is a batch image optimization and format conversion tool ONLY. It is not a substitute for professional image editing, archival, or backup practices.
Accuracy and Quality
PixSqueeze outputs are generated programmatically and may have limitations:
- Lossy compression (WebP, JPG) may reduce image quality compared to original files
- Animated GIFs will be converted to static images
- Some image formats may not be fully supported by all browsers
- Canvas rendering may produce color variations on different devices or browsers
- Very large images may be limited by browser memory constraints
- Output quality depends on input file quality and compression settings
Usage Responsibility
You are solely responsible for:
- Testing output images in your specific use case before deployment
- Maintaining backups of your original images
- Verifying that converted images meet your quality standards
- Choosing appropriate compression settings for your needs
- Ensuring you have rights to modify and convert the images you upload
Professional Review
For critical applications, professional image optimization is recommended:
- E-commerce product photography should be reviewed by professionals before publication
- Archival or preservation-quality images require specialized tools and processes
- Medical, scientific, or legal images may require certified optimization procedures
- High-stakes applications should use dedicated image processing software
Data Privacy
While PixSqueeze processes images entirely in your browser with no server uploads:
- Browser extensions or security software may intercept or log image data
- Your internet service provider may monitor your network traffic
- For highly sensitive images, offline image processing tools are recommended
No Liability
PixSqueeze and Codeblib assume no liability for:
- Loss of image data due to processing errors or browser crashes
- Quality degradation or unexpected output results
- Compatibility issues with specific browsers, devices, or operating systems
- Negative consequences from using converted images in production
- Copyright or intellectual property disputes related to images you process
Use at Your Own Risk
